Jens Loewe


Jens Loewe (b. 1958) is working as an artist and is involved with several organisations.

The Network for Worldwide Projects (NWWP) was established after the Expo 2000 in Germany. Therein Mr. Loewe and his colleagues unite forces of over 700 projects from around the world and strive to make them known to the open public, because often they're not perceived by media. By that the voices of people worldwide, engaged in non-profit organizations, receive a platform for dialogue and for joining forces.

With the Stuttgarter Wasser Forum (Stuttgart Water Forum) and the Social Forum on Water Mr. Loewe is examining the issue of water privatisation. In addition, he is active in an initiative for a German Social Forum.

Mr. Loewe offers workshops about water and privatisation, cross-border leasing, globalisation and participative democracy
