Jörg-Peter Rau, born 1971, was brought up on Lake Constance and worked with the
regional
newspaper "Südkurier" from 1992 to 1996. After several years of
journalism, he studied Geography, English and Art History in Berlin and
Glasgow and graduated as an MA from Humboldt University. Global
environmental issues and resource distribution politics were one of the
key interests at University and are now among the most important topics
in his journalistic work. From Berlin's "Tagesspiegel", he returned to
the Konstanz-based "Südkurier" where Rau works in the political
department.
